After much research and prayer, we created the Passport to Heaven to support prayers for souls in Purgatory. Approved by theologians from the US, Malta, and Ireland, it highlights the Prayer of St. Gertrude, which Jesus promised would release 1,000 souls each time it is recited. The passport includes unique visa stamps and a near-authentic biometrics page, blending creativity with devotion. Designed with care, it’s a quirky yet meaningful addition to any prayer book collection, encouraging prayer and reflection.
Passport covers, designed to resemble EU and US colours.
The crest features the Tree of Life, symbolizing vitality; the Cross, representing sacrifice; and the Resurrection Flag before the open tomb, signifying the triumph of resurrection.
A list of everyday partial indulgences we can offer to help release souls from purgatory.

This design has been prayerfully created as a symbolic staircase to heaven, guiding souls toward our Father's kingdom. A reminder of the immense power of intercession, this design is a beautiful and meaningful way to help souls ascend to heaven.
Prayer of St. Gertrude the Great, was a 13th-century Benedictine nun in Helfta, Saxony, and was one of the great mystics of the 13th century. Together with her friend and teacher Saint Mechtild, she practiced a spirituality called “nuptial mysticism,” that is, she came to see herself as the bride of Christ.
According to tradition, our Lord promised St. Gertrude that 1,000 souls would be released from Purgatory each time this prayer is said devoutly. To honour this promise, the reverse side of the bookmarks features 1,000 small square boxes, each representing a soul set free with every devout and heartfelt recitation of the prayer.
We are deeply grateful to artist Edoardo La Francesca for granting us permission to use his original painting for this bookmark. A Sicilian based in Malta, Edoardo’s work explores the body, the sacred, and memory, drawing from profound inner visions and reflection.

Blessed Gerardo Sasso (c. 1040 – 1120) was a Benedictine lay brother and the visionary founder of the Order of Malta, later known as the Knights Hospitaller. Appointed rector of the hospice in Jerusalem in 1080, he devoted his life to caring for the sick and poor. Following the First Crusade, his mission received papal recognition in 1113, making him the first Grand Master of the Hospitallers.
Blessed Gerardo Sasso is associated with bread because of his deep commitment to feeding the poor, the sick, and pilgrims. As rector of the hospice in Jerusalem, he not only provided medical care but also ensured that the hungry were fed—a crucial part of his mission of mercy and hospitality.
We printed over 1,000 bookmarks featuring a prayer to Blessed Gerard.
What made them extra special is that they were beautifully designed and printed in the Mediterranean island of Malta.
